MISHAP TO AEROPLANE.

MACHINE FORCED DOWN AT FEILDING. (Special to “Standard.”) Although fortunately not attended with any serious result to either the occupants or the aeroplane, the Feilding Aero Club’s training machine, with Captain Gibbons and a pupil aboard, met with a slight mishap this morning which will put it out of commission for perhaps a few days. While setting out on an early flight at the club’s aerodrome at Parorangi, the engine stalled when the machine was only a short distance up, not giving Captain Gibbons time to take over control from the pupil who was taking the jnachine up. The ’plane landed rather heavily, causing some slight structural damage, but the occupants were onlv slightly shaken.
