TOAA’N v. COUNTRY
Per Press Association. AYELLINGTON, Dec. 6,
The weather is fine for the continuation of the Town v. Country cricket match. At the lunch adjournment the score was 9 for 144. Lowry made frequent changes in the bowling and the fielding was good. Lamason brought up the hundred with a four off Massey to fine leg, but this was his finish, as in the same over he placed the ball into the hands of Lowry at third man. He had been at the wickets for 64 minutes and had given a brisk display. The bowlers continued to have the best of matters and at lunch the last pair were at the wickets. Details: —
