BUNNYTHORPE.
(From Our Own Correspondent.) BUNNYTHORPE, Nov. 17. The Bunnythorpe Tennis Club sent a team to Pohagina on Saturday to play a friendly match with the Pohangina Club. After tho game had been in progress nain set in and prevented play till later in the afternoon, when it again 6et in and the match had to be abandoned. Though the gamo was marred by rain, the teams spent an enjoyable time. Luncheon and afternoon tea was provided by the Pohangina Club, and the home team made the visit enjoyable. The friends of Mrs Temperley, senr., will regret to learn she is an inmate of the Palmerston North Hospital. As a result of the earthquake early this morning a number of chimneys were badly cracked. The picture entertainment in aid of tho school fund last week, given by Mr Cameron, was well attended. At the close of the programme Mr W. J. Maxwell, chairman of the school committee, thanked Mr Cameron.
