(From Our Own Correspondent.) BAINESSE, Nov. _ 17. A fair 6hare of awards came to Bainesse from tho Manawatu A. and P. Show held recently, Mrs Jakobsen scoring in tho butter section, Miss B. Millard in fancy work and Miss Dorothy Tennent in sewing. The latter has carried off tho first prize for three years in succession. On Saturday tho children from tho Oroua Downs School journoyed to Bainesse to play tho local schoolboys in a crickot match, wult beiac ® «a te Oroua Downs »y 26 runs. For Oroua Downs, N. Robinson proved a valuable member and compiled 43 of the 85 runs made by his team. The local lads played well, tho runs being well distributed amongst them.
