WIN FOR KARA PASHA. Per Press Association. NEW PLYMOUTH, Sept. 21. Kara Pasha defeated Fred Ebert in' a wrestling bout at Stratford last night. The building was crowded. Kara had a comfortable margin of superiority and won by two falls to one. LEWIS DEFEATS STECHER. SYDNEY, Sept. 21. In a wrestling match at the Stadium last night, “Strangler” Lewis (17st 61b) defeated Joe Stecher (16st) by two falls to one, in eight rounds. There were 8000 spectators. Stecher gained the first fall with a body scissors in the fifth round. Lewis secured falls in the seventh and eighth rounds with a headlock and a body press. Both men displayed tremendous strength and stamina.
