IFrom Our Own Correspondent.) RANGITIKEI, Aug. 16. Mr Ralph Lowry, of Mcawhango, returned to New Zealand from Australia on Monday. Mr George T. Avery is progressing satisfactorily after his recent severe illness. Miss Howie, who is on tho teaching staff at Taihape, has resumed duties after throe weeks’ sick leave. During her absence her place was taken by Miss Mullins. Mrs (Dr.) Boyd, of Palmerston North, is the guest of Mrs G. Durrant, of Taoroa. Arthur Reginald Borland, a man with several aliases, was arrested in Marton yesterday by Constable Thompson on a warrant issued in September 1929, at Christchurch, for alleged failure to ocmply with the terms of a maintenance order for the support of his wife, Alice Borland. He was allegedly in arrears to the extent of £194 11s 6d. He appeared before Mr A. C. M. Parkinson, J.P. in the local Court this morning and was remanded to appear at Christchurch on August 18.
