(From Our Own Correspondent). POHANGINA, Aug. 14. On Wednesday evening a large party visited tho home of Mr and Mrs G. L. Wagstaff, Pohangina, and spent a jolly social timo there, it being the first of a series of musical evenings in connection with tho Methodist Church. Tho time passed pleasantly with games, entertainment items and competitions, tho winnors of tho latter being Mrs F. Wagstaff, Mis 3 J. Sinclair, Mrs F. Wagstaff and Mr D. Turnbull and Mrs N. Moar and Mr G. Wagstaff. • The winners were mado tho recipients of dainty trophies presentod by Mrs Wagstaff, senr. After a dainty supper had been partaken of Mr Fordyce, on behalf of those present thanked Mr and Mrs Wagstaff and family for throwing open their home and making possible such an cnjoyablo evening.
