Hoot, as the cowboy entrusted with a shipment of horses, is marked as prey by a band of city men, and a fine conspiracy is hatched for his undoing. Of course, there is a pleasant love story, and plenty of the western brand of humour which Hoot has made famous on tho screen. There is a supply of riding and fighting, and, as though this were not enough, Hoot throws in aeroplane antics, including a drop in a parachute. “Trailing Trouble" is well off the beaten track of western pictures, with an original plot, and something doing every minute. Mar'garct Quimby has the role of leading lady. Tho exceptional cast includes Pete Morrison, Olivo Young and William McCall. Tho supporting programme includes a Universal Talkie News, British News, a Sporting Youth scries, “Tho Take Off,” and “The Collegians,” “On tho Side Lines.” KOSY THEATRE. ■“FLAG LIEUTENANT."It would indeed be a pleasant task to mention by name all theso. officers and men of tho British Navy who gavo their timo and talents in tho making of the British picture, “Tho Flag Lieutenant,” which is now showing at the Kosy Theatre. Tho setting of tho romance of “Tho Flag Lieutenant” is the deck of tho battleship. The story is filled with the salt tang of the sea, and the spirit of daring and gallontry is the essence of tho drama. Tho friendship of two men is tho theme and the sacrifice of one, that tho other might get a chance, is tho main climax of the picture. “Tho Flag Lioutonant,” a Paramount British picturo rolcaso, was produced with tho hearty co-operation of the British Admiralty. “Tho Rod Danco” is a Fox foaturo with Dolores Dol Rio as a peasant girl, Tasia, who rises to fame on the stage of the Moscow Theatre and sways with her dancing the councils of revolution and the hearts of a nation. Charles Farroll is Grand Duke Eugen, favourito of tho Czar and a general of his armies, whose. fate at last rests in tho hands of' Ivan Linow, a giant six-foot Russian peasant and common soldier who becomes a "Red” general and a powor in tho new State. Each new situation is .a surprise. There is not a dull moment in the whole show from tho time that beautiful Miss Brent sees handsome Clive Brook in Paris and wishes she could know him.
