JUMBLE SALE.

The Women’s Division of the Farmers’ Union conducted a successful jumble sale in the Orange Hall this afternoon. During the morning a number of ladies were busily engaged in arranging the articles for sale, the proceeds from which will aid the community chest and branch funds. The committee responsible for the sale arrangements was as follows: Mesdames E. A. Shaw (secretary), H. Green, J. Hughes, A. Lord. J. B. Cunninghame, J. Armstrong, T. W. Iheld, F. Andrews, E. Martin, T. Close, E. Doherty, S. Lancaster and Miss Grant. The committee desires to-express its thanks to Messrs Collinson and Cunninghame for permitting their inquiry office to be used as a receiving depot.
