STOWAWAY FINED.

BOARDED SHIP AT WELLINGTON. Received August 13, 10.5 a.m. LONDON, Aug. 12. Arthur George Salisbury was charged at Eastliam to-day with being a stowaway on the steamer Norfolk from Wellington. Accused said that he had been engaged in film work in Sydney until the talkies displaced him. He was then destitute, and secured the promise of employment in England. He was fined "£2, the Magistrate saying that he thought Salisbury was a trier.
