FIREWORKS AT DOORN.

SILVER WEDDING DAY. EX-CROWN PRINCE AND WIFE. The German ex-Crown Prince and his wife celebrated their silver wedding—they were married in Berlin on June 6, 1905—with tho ex-Kaiser and his family at Doom a few weeks ago. At 9.30 a.m. the ex-Kaiser’s family and a number of visitors assembled in the chapel of the house, where Count Kolff, the court chaplain, conducted the service and the ex-Ivaiser congratulated his eldest son, his wife and family. At both luncheon and dinner the party was practically confined to the family. Besides the ex-Kaiser and liis wife, Princess Hermione, those present included the ex-Crown Prince and Princess and five of their six children; Prince Eitel Friedrich—the Kaiser’s second son—and his children; Prince Adelbert —the third son ; Prince Oscar—the fifth son; the Duke and Duchess of Mecklenburg, the Duke and Duchess of Brunswick, and the Burgomasters of Doom, Leersum and Zeist. Luncheon was an informal meal, but at dinner the men, with the exception of one or two who for diplomatic reasons were better advised not to do so, were in military uniform. At night a film of a semi-pacifist character, with a few items relating to the Hohcnzollern family, was exhibited, after which the castle was illuminated and a display of fireworks given for the children.
