AIR PILOT ARRESTED.

FATAL FALL INTO CROWD. CHARGE OF MURDER LAID. A message from Fayetteville, Tennessee, says that for the fiist time a pilot has been arrested on a charge of murder. Milton Colvert, a flying circus pilot, is under arrest following the deaths of eight persons, and injuries to 16 others, when his machine crashed into a crowd of spectators. While decending to a landing field which swarmed with Colvert purposely flew low to frighten the people away from his path. When 50ft. above the ground the aeropiane suddenly dropped, its whirling propellor striking the crowd with deadly effect. An angry mob seized and would have lynched him but for the aid of the police. Feeling is running very high. Three of the injured are likely to die, which would raise the death roll to 11. Colvert said he encountered an air pccket.
