MEETING OP EXECUTIVE. ! A meeting of tho executive of the Manawatu and West Coast Dairy Companies’ Association w'as ireld yesterday. Mr S. A. Broad belt occupied the chair, and there were 1 also present: Messrs P. Hansen, P. , J. Small, It. G. Wall and T. Hanford. Apologies for absence were 1 received [ from Messrs G. H. Stiles and H. E. I Pacey. A letter was received from the New Zealand Dairy Farmers’ Union asking ’ tho association to discuss the matter ' of boundaries for dairy companies. On the motion of Messrs Small and Ran- | ford it was resolved that a circular be i sent to all companies in the district, i asking if they were favourable to holding a conference to consider boundaries for each company, and tint Mr 1 Singleton be first written to enquiring if ho would attend the meeting. In connection with a letter received from the New Zealand Dairy Factory Managers’ Association, tho secretary was instructed to reply that, whilst tho Manawatu and West Coast Association had ■ no objection to the former association taking any steps to assist the industry, by scientific and

other methods, the dairy companies’ association did. not think that the managers’ association was the body to take steps for the formation of an advisory body for tho marketing rf dairy produce within and outside the Dominion.
