POHANGINA VALLEY.
(From Our Own Correspondent.) POIIANGINA, May 14. A match between the Linton Rifle Club and the local club was held on Saturday on (he Raumai range over tho 300 yards and 500 yards ranges, and resulted in a win for the Linton Club by one point. On the 300 yards range both teams of eight men registered 233 points, while the Linton Club on the 500 yards range gained one point. Rflm. B. Salmons had the highest scoro for the day with 64 points. The day was bright with a light wind but with a hard shooting light. Tho detailed scores were as follow: LINTON RIFLE CLUB.
