The Prince of Wales, who is due to arrive in London on about April 28 from his African tour, left Khartoum by air to-day for Cairo.' Accompanying the ’plane in which the Prince travelled were nine others of tho 47tli squadron of the Royal Air Force. A start was made at about six o’clock this morning, and after four hours the ten machines reached Atbara. The Prince alighted at the railway and took breakfast with the general manager of the railway in a Pullman car. -He was off again in about 40 minutes and YVadilialfa, on the Nile, was roache’d at about noon. Here His Royal Highness took luncheon with Mr Jackson, Governor of the Province. After luncheon the flight was resumed to Assouan, which was reached at 4.30 o’clock. The Prince will stay the night there, continuing his journey t-o-morrow. He will arrive at Cairo soon after midday. King Fuad will meet him.

Before leaving Khartoum, the Prince said that Ire had enjoyed the rest and complete holiday in tho Sudan immensely.
