Much interest is being shown in the visit of the Wellington Salvation Army Boys’ Band to Palmerston North for Easter. Tbo boys, under Bandmaster Bailey, will arrive’on Good Friday morning in time to take part in the eleven o’clock service at the Citadel in Broadway. At night a special service of song will bo rendered, entitled “From Olivet to Calvary.” This special service has been arranged bv Ensign Bridge and Bandmaster Scotney, of Wellington. It is anticipated that a large crowd, will be present. The Boys’ Band will present a first-class programme on Saturday evening at eight o’clock including Maori haka and action song and will also take part iu the services on Sunday.
