A head-on collision between a goods and passenger train occurred to-day between Wyena and Golconda. There was only one man injured. Both trains were severely damaged. No explanation is available as to how the two trains were allowed to meet on a single line. The respective crews saw that a crash was inevitable and jumped clear.
