N.S.W. RAILWAYS.

LESS PAY ACCEPTED. Received April 16, 9.20 a.m. SYDNEY, April 16. A secret ballot taken among the branches of the Australian •Railways’ Union shows that about. 8000 men are willing to accept less pay rather than dismissal.

This revolt against the domination of politicians and the Railways’ Union State Council is a serious rebuff to the union, which had stated that it had decided to reject all the plans of the Commissioner to save the railwaymen from dismissal.
