BUSINESS GIRLS.

MEETING OF LUNCH CLUB. Mrs J. Black presided over the Business Girls’ Lunch Club at the Rosco tearooms yesterday in the absence of the president, Mrs M. H. Oram. An impromptu debate was held on the subject, ‘That husbands should help in the housework.” Mrs J. Black lead the affirmative and Miss C. -Mardon the negative. -

Practically'every member’ was present, and Mrs M. A. Eliott was a visitor. Apologies for absence were received from Mrs M. H. Oram (president) and Mrs A. E. Mansford. Each member had an Easter egg presented to her.
