The latter obtained a lead, but Returned overtook him and reached the hare by a length and killed it. In the Woodstock Cup, the winner to take £75 and the runner-up £25, in the deciding epurse J. A. Williams’s Hadrian beat A.' Carter’s Cinbon and won.
