TE KAWAU RUGBY SUB-UNION. (From Our Own Correspondent.) SANDON, April 12. A meeting of the management committco of tho To Kawau Rugby Sub-Union was held on Thursday evening. Air H. J. Fagan presided over a good attendance of members and all clubs were represented. Nominations of teams were accepted as follow Senior. —Rongotca, Oroua Downs, Awahuri, Hui Mai. Junior.—Rongotca, Oroua Downs, Awahuri, Hui Mai, Huia. Thirds. —Only two nominations were received, Hui Mai and Rongotca. It was decided to hold over nominations to give tho clubs an opportunity of amalgamating for this grade. Tho matter will be finalised at next meeting. It was decided to award the Jones L»up as a trophy for a sudden doath competition. Senior and junior competitions aro to bo played in three rounds. Messrs H. J. Fagan, D. J. Koster, C. Eglinton and tho secretary woro elected an executive committee. , , Mr J. D* Cameron was elected selector for senior representative team to Mr H. H. Simmons, junior selector. An endeavour is to bo mado to play Horowhonua A team at an early date and to suggest that, if Horowhenua are the holders of tho Bebbington Shield, tho gamo bo a challenge for same. It was decided to invito tho Oroua Subunion to appoint dologates to meet representatives from To Kawau Sub-Union at a mooting to be held in Fcilding to discuss the question of tho formation of a Metropolitan Union. Messrs H. J. Fagan, J. M. Crouchcr, E. J. Arnott and J. O. Cameron were appointed to act as delegates from Te Kawau. Tho secretary was directed to write thanking Mr Jones for the donation of a cup for competition.
