BOWLING. The following is the Feilding Bowling Club’s rink to play Terraco End for the Dixon Cup on Saturday: — Way, Ramsay, Moore, Ncilson. EASTER TOURNAMENT. The Feilding Club will be represented at the Manawatu Easter Tournament by the following rinks:—Moore, Way, Allen, Wenham (skip) ; Foster, Ewen, Ramsay, Neilson (skip). The Oroua Club will be represented by tho following:—Simpson, Aitken, Entwisle, Roach. . VETERANS’ GAME. A veterans’ match between the Foilding and Oroua Clubs was played yesterday and resulted in a win for the former by 11 points. The teams were: B. Gray. McElroy, Dcwe, Snywell (skip) 23 v. Henson, Fowler, Goodbehere, Spence (skip) 12. FOOTBALL. An amalgamation has been decided upon by the Cheltenham and Kiwitea Rugby Football Club and to finalise matters a general meeting of players is to be held at Kiwitea next Tuesday. The following players are requested to meet at Johnston Park, Feilding, to-morrow at 1.45 p.m. when teams will be selected to engage in friendly matches: —B. Hocking, C. McDougnll, P. McDougnll, D. WEDDING. JENKINS—KILGOUR. A wedding of disfrict “ interest was celebrated at Feilding yesterday wlien Margaret Eleanor, only daughter of Mr and Mrs J. Kilgour, Table Flat, Apiti, was married to William third son of Mrs and the late Mr W. Jenkins, “Pentewyn,” Mamnhilad, Monmouthshire, England. St. John’s Church was beautifully decorated for the occasion with chrysanthemums, delphiniums and autumn tinted foliage. Rev. W. Langstone, of Mangaweka, officiated. The bride, who entered the church on the arm of her father, wore a long bridal gown of ivory satin beaute with yoke and sleeves of georgettes. The flared skirt, ankle length at the back, was finished with a large bow fastened with a diamante buckle. An embroidered veil and silver shoes compleetd a charming toilet. She carried a sheaf of lilies. Miss Alison Williams, of Auckland, as bridesmaid, wore apple green taffeta with frilled georgette yoke. The skirt, with a band of georgette frills at the liipline, had a scalloped uneven hem. A green felt hat, turned back with a diamante pin. and green satin shoes to match, with a bouquet of autumn tinted flowers, completed the ensemble. She wore a rhinestone necklet and ear-rings, the gift of the bridegroom. The bridegroom was attended by Mr Hector Gunderson, of Norsewood. Mrs R. P. Kilgour, aunt of tho bride, attired in a chocolate brown ensemble, acted as hostess. She carried a bouquet of scarlet gerbenas. Following the reception the happy couple left on their honeyrpoon, the bride travelling in a brown costume with felt hat to tone and wearing a brown fox fur, the gift ofj.the bridegroom.
