FIREWORKS.
Fireworks displays are very popular attractions and favourite open air entertainments. Next Tuesday evening a large display is to be given on the Showgrounds under the auspices of the Manawatu Highland Pipe Band, the arrangements for the successful presentation of the pyrotechnics being in the hands of experts from YVainoni Fireworks. Ltd A new feature will be an illuminated parade around the oval by the Pipe Band when many coloured flares will be burned. A boys’ singing competition will bo a preliminary attraction.
