FIRE ON OIL TANKER.

» NEWCASTLE, April 10. At an inquiry into the fire which nearly destroyed the oil tanker British Honor on February 24, the Coroner returned a' verdict that the fire was caused through' a starboard seavalve being left open by a member of the crew, thereby allowing benzine to escape into the harbour. It is understood that the cost of the' repairs to .the vessel will be £30,000.
