CHRISTCHURCH RETURNS. Per Press Association. CHRISTCHURCH, April 7. The balance-sheet for the Christchurch tramways for the year ended’ March 31 shows a net deficit of £320. The ' tramways showed a _ surplus o= £3248 and the buses a deficit of £3568. In the previous year the tramways surplus was £12.843 and the bus (deficiency £5084. giving a net surplus of £7759. Reduced concession fares were operating during 7J months of the past financial year.
