WEALTH OF SCENERY.

DOMINION’S ATTRACTIONS. PRAISI! BY AMERICAN. (Bv Telegraph—Special to Standard.) AUCKLAND, April 7. Keen appreciation of the wealth of scenery that New Zealand has to offer tourists from abroad was expressed by Mr W. H. Gilbert, of Grand Rapids, Michigan, United States, who has just completed a holiday in New Zealand and Australia. Mr Gilbert spent four weeks in the Dominion, two in each Island, and was much impressed with the Dominion’s natural beauty. He said that it was a magnificent tour. He had made a cinema film of many of the most interesting scenic and historic spots, and he would use it for private exhibition upon his return to the United States. Mr Gilbert hopes to induce some of his friends to visit New Zealand.
