LUNCH HOUR RECITAL.

At All Saints’ Church, on Saturday, the organist, Mr J. Holmes Itunnicles, commenced a series of lunch hour organ recitals,.? when he played the following programme: —Rachmaninoff’s well-known “Prelude in C Sharp Minor,” a set of three pieces by Lemare under the title of “Arcadian Idyll,” comprising “Serenade,” “Musette” and “Solitude,” a charming group in the composer’s best style: then followed the popular “Chanson” by Friml. The first movement of Rhemberzer’s “Sonata” gave an admirable opportunity for the rich, full diapason .tone of the organ. The recital concluded with a dainty “Bergeretto ■ an aid-fashioned dance, bjr Cuthbert Nunn, and the ever charming “Traumerci bv Schumann. The programme is to bo repeated at the next recital by special request. ,
