SUCCESSFUL BAZAAR CONCLUDESSo well were all details in connection with the West End school bazaar arranged that it is anticipated that when returns are completed the objective of £l5O will be more than attained. The result is eminently satisfactory to the School Committee and ladies who worked hard to make the effort a success. _ . , 1 The bazaar concluded on Saturday evening when among the attractions was the final of the tug-of-war, which was won by Miranui, who defeated Huskies by two pulls out of three. The winners of the various competitions were: Pink doll, Miss Snell (249) ; worked towels, M. Penketh (25); bed jacket, Mrs A. Penketh (71); tea set, Mrs Ritchie (133); tea waggon, Mrs Ogier (173); drapery parcel, Mrs Chalk (52); set of lingerie, Mrs K. Thorburn (35) j baby outfit, It. D. Judd (H); rose bowl, Mr Mudgway (11); bicycle, Mr Richardson (614); chocolate bottle, Ethel Ogier (17); coat hangar and shoe horn, Miss N. Allen (21); crystal rose bowl, A. E. Moliring (21) ; sweet stall cake, Mrs H. Lane (151); bunny, Margaret Dobson; scone basket, Miss H: Bailey (27); china vase, Mrs Griffen (12); blue vase and flowers, Mrs G. K. Hollier (73); waggon throw-over, Mrs Beattie (14) ; paper dolls—pink, Eunice Owen (9), mauve, W. Dobson (29), blue, Peggy Hastie (2) ; apples, Mr J. Penketh (61bs 8ozs.); ham, Mrs Morliing (151bs); rabbit, M. Dobson; Mrs Dustin’s cake, E. Fraser; paper purse, E. G. Gray '(1); suit, A. J.
