LAWN TENNIS.

The ladies’ club championship lies, as expected, between Misses N. Astle and D. Haggitt. , The former had beaten the latter when they met in an earlier round, but when they came together in the semi-final Miss Haggitt won 6 —3, 4—6, 6—4. Miss Astle beat Mrs Allen 6—2, 6—l in the other semi-final. She and Miss Haggitt meet in the final with one life each. The men’s championship is held up for the match between Boddy and Brown the winner of which will be laft in with McDonald and Hankin, each with one life.
