HOCKEY.
PALMERSTON NORTH CLUB. Mr M. Levy presided over the annual meeting of the Palmerston North Hockey Ciub last evening. The annual report and balance-sheet, showing a fairly satisfactory position, were adopted. ' The election'of officers resulted as follows:—President, Mr W. H. Vlson; vice-presidents, Messrs H. B. Free, F. Kensington, A. J. Graham, H. Byers, I. Sykes, T. Grace and R. Porter; secretary and treasurer, Mr K. Burne; dub captain, Mr J. C. Wood; management committee to (.emprise the secretary, club captain, Messrs M. Levy, I. Tones, G. Sn.ith and team captain; delegates to Manawatu Association, > Messrs Wood and Burne. Subscriptions for the coming season were fixed at 7s 6d for senior members and 5s for junior. Practices were left to the management committee to arrange.
