LONDON WOOL SALES.
GOOD COMPETITION. PRICES MAINTAINED. Received April 2, 10 a.m. LONDON, April 1. At the wool sales to-day, 9652 bales were offered, including 903 from New Zealand. About 4340 bales were sold. There was a large selection of greasy Merinos, chiefly super-style, and a moderate supply of greasy crossbreds Good competition prevailed, with prices fully equal to last week’s rates. New Zealand realisations: Greasy crossbreds, >Vbare, top price 10Id, average 9Jd ; E/EE, lOd, Bid.
