Coleman, the grass'track motorcycle racing champion, made Ills last appearance in New Zealand before leaving: for the Isle ,of Man, where he will engage in the famous Tourist Trophy race. Coleman won the tw.o principal races to-day at tire Pioneer Sports Club’s meeting at New Brighton." He won the Brighton Handicap off scratch from • McCleary , . (35sec>, and T. Morgan (l2isec),. Coleman won very easily. In the Bonnington Handicap he had a long cliase from scratch to catch his field, beating Ogden (sosec) by two yards. McCleary (45sec) was third.
