The course and the attendance are both excellent. Won by one and a-quarter lengths, two and a-half lengths between second and third. Time, 4.40 2-5. A sensation was caused at 1 p.m. when Great Peter, the favourite for the Cup, was scratched. White Satin, in the first event, set a fresh record for a three-year-old.
