FIRST CASE IN ARIZONA. Received February 22, 1 p.m. VANCOUVER, Feb. 21. The first woman ever executed in Arizona has been banged at Tucson. She was Mrs Eva Dugin, who, three years ago, killed Albert Mathis, an aged rancher in order to secure possession of his farms. The woman and Mathis went for • motor ride, but the mail never returned His body was not discovered for a year. Dugan, at the trial, asserted that the actual slaying was done by a 19-vear-old youth, but though she received letters purporting to be from him, he did not materialise and the police ar-a satisfied that he never existed.
