REMAND GRANTED. i Appearing before Mr T- L. Stout, S.M.. in the Police Court to-day, William Proctor, a barman ®ged 35, was charged- with stealing l-Bo the property of Joseph Fleming, at /Wanganui on February 17. “I understand that the Wanganui police have other charges to prefer against him,” Senior Sergeant Whitehouse making an application to have aecijped remanded to appeal at Wanganui? DM Tuesday. “I will have to njtake the bail substantial,” said thei Mag'st'-ate, who grunted the reman'd and fixed bail m accused’s own recoopiisance of £IOO, with two sureties of £s*o each.
