AWAPUNI HEALTH CAMP.

VISITORS’ DAY., After a week of indifferent weather, to-day was gloriously fine when the first visiting day at the Awnpuni children’s health camp was held. Numerous visitors were present both from Palmerston North and Wanganui. On all sides one heard remarks that the children had very greatly improved in health in the short time they had been in camp in spite of the bad weather. Members of the Palmerston North committee were present and did their part in making the afternoon pleasant and interesting. The children were delighted to be able to show their friends all over the camp. The camp will again be open for inspection to-morrow afternoon between 2 p.m. and 5 p.m.
