CHINESE IN AUSTRALIA.
DEMANDS FOR BETTER CONDITIONS. CANBERRA, Aug. 25. It is understood that the Chinese Consul-General, Mr F. T. Sung, lias forwarded to the Federal Government certain demands relating to Chinese nationals, including the bettering of conditions under which Chinese reside in Australia, especially the refusal of naturalisation to those living in the country.
