WOODVILLE, Aug. 24. A meeting of tho general committee of tho Woodvillo A. and P. Association was nekl on Thursday. There was an attendance of 14 memebrs. In the absence of tho president, Mr G. Peebles occupied tho chair. Tho Woodvillo Jockey Club wrote, refunding tho sum of RIO in rent.—lt was decided that tho Jockey Club bo thanked for the generous donation. Tho secretary of tho Manawatu Pig Breeders’ Association wrote m reference to tho ages of pigs to bo exhibited.—Received. Tho resignations of Messrs J. W. Falconer and YV. H. Tennant were received and accepted with regret. The time-table, os revised by the sub-committee, was read and adopted. It was decided that the next show be held on Friday, February 7th. Mr Jenson was appointed tester for tho milking competition, and the arranging for stewards was left in the hands of the secretary.
