"A HOUSE IS BUILT.” ARNOLD BENNETT IMPRESSED. (Australian Press Association.) LONDON, July 4. Mr Arnold Bennett, the cerebrated author, has written an appreciative review of “A House is Built,” a story of the early days in Australia. “A House is Built” won the £IOOO competition for the best novel by an Australian author, and is the work of the Misses Eldershaw and Bernard, two graduates, of Sydney University.
