EXHUMATION WORK

DISPOSAL OF REMAINS.

Received July 5, 10 a.m. SYDNEY, July 5. Tho representative of a city undertaker, upon calling at the To\vn Hall to-day to offer his firm’s services for the disposal of the human remains excavated by the workmen discovered that the contents of the coffins were being thrown on to trucks and dumped in different parts of the city. About 40 coffins had been unearthed, and in one case a drill had cut a coffin in halves.
