DEFECTIONS FROM SOUTH TEAM
Further defections have been announced from tho South team to oppose the North in a trial match at Feilding to-morrow afternoon, Galpin and Walker being both unavailable owing to illness, the former suffering from influenza, while the latter is an inmate of hospital with pneumonia. Baker will replace Galpin, while, with Hutchins being unable to travel, Penney and Robertson now become the reserve forwards. Page has been substituted for Walker in the reserve ranks of the rearguard and he and Pacey will now De the two emergencies.
