POWER BOARD.

THE MONTHLY MEETING. The monthly meeting of the Mana-watu-Oroua Power Board was held yesterday afternoon, Mr J. A. Nash, M.P., presiding. Also present were Messrs. M. A. Eliott, P. G. Guy, J. Linklater, M.P., H. H. Hunt, P. J. Small, F. Roberts, A. Campell, O. McElroy, L. T. McLean and J. H.. Perrett. An apology for absence was received from Mr J. Hodgens, and the board passed a vote of sympathy with him in his indisposition. . The report submitted by the engineer was considered and adopted. The board passed a resolution expressing its thanks to Mesdames Will (Rongotea) and Drew (Sanson) for cooking demonstration given at Ron 1 got on.
