Captain Ahrenberg, Sweden’s leading ariator, took off for New York, via Greenland, to-day. Captain Ahrenberg is not attempting a record, but is trying to open up a safo Northern route of comparatively short hops. The Swedish airman is using a seaplane with special floats to enable him to descend in a rough sea. He has taken a> reserve pilot and his son. The latter is acting as wireless operator.
