MILD INFLUENZA. INVADES AUCKLAND. • There is a mild form of influenza prevalent through Auckland City and Province at the present time. There is also a certain amount of influenza in evidence in other parts of the Dominion. Medical authorities state that although the present visitation is of a mild type, the malady could, given the necessary conditions of wet and cold, easily develop into a more serious form. It is necessary therefore to take due precautions. In the case of a high temperature it is advisable to remain in bed until the fever has gone, and where the symptoms cause anxiety to immediately call in medical aid.
