SYDNEY TRAGEDY

MURDER AND SUICIDE. Received June 8, 10 a.m. SYDNEY, June 8. At the inquest into the death of Strachan Knight, an estate agent, and Rene Linton, the musical comedy actress, whose dead bodies were found in a flat at Cremorne recently, the Coroner found that it was a case of murder and suicide.

Miss Linton was in town with “The Vagabond King” Company, playing the tragic role of Huguette. She had been to New Zealand before in the chorus of musical comedies and musical plays.
