GIRLS’ MUSIC CLUB.

There was a large attendance at the Girls’ Music Club last evening when Miss Christine Carter was the hostess. Apologies for absence were received from Mrs F. Collier (Sanson) and Misses E. and B. Gordon Elliot (Feilding), G. Seifert and D. Rodgers. An enjoyable supper was served and the following programme was rendered: Piano solo, “Valse Op. 64” (Chopin) Miss M. Buchanan; violin solo, “Nocturne No. 9” (Chopin), Miss P. Hausemann; violin and piano duo. “Rondo” (Beethoven), Misses E. and V. Gunterpiano solo, “Evening Whispers” (Palmgren), Miss J. Mawhinney; violin solos, “Berceuse” (Godard), “Liebespend” (Kreisler), and other selections Mrs J. Fisher.
