TAXI-DRIVER CHARGED.
Per Press Association. CHRISTCHURCH, April 9. William Barnett, a taxi-driver, was charged in the Magistrate’s Court today with indecent assault on a woman who had been a passenger in his car on a trip to Brighton on March 21. He pleaded not guilty, and was conimil»3d to the Supreme Court for trial. Bail was allowed.
