FEILDING NEWS.
SCHOOL COMMITTEES. (Special to “Standard.”) FEILDING, April 10. There will be no election for the committees of the local State schools, the present committee having been reelected unopposed as follow: —Manchester Street School: Mesdames JJ‘. Billman and G. F. Fitzpatrick, Messrs Jas. Campbell, P. B. Desmond, E. P. Hosking, T. S. Goldsmith, W. W. Andrews, S. McDowall and G. J. Fitzpatrick. Lytton Street School: Mesdames McCorkindale and Sandford, Messrs Jas. Penny, T. K. Hay, R. Heald, J. S. Tingey, S. Chesterfield, W. G. Short and H. Parsonage. PERSONAL. 1 The death occurred at Feilding yesterday of Mrs T. F.' Woods, of Ohingaiti. The deceased lady was only 43 years old and was a member of a well known Feilding family, being the daughter of Mr and Mrs R. Bowler, of Manchester Street, at whoso residence her demise took place. Much sympathy will be expressed to the bereaved husband, son, daughter and parents.
