NEW ZEALANDERS EXHIBIT.

(Australian Press Association.) Received April 9, 12.1 p.m. LONDON, April 8. The Royal Drawing Society’s fortieth exhibition is being held at the Guildhall. The New Zealand artists who secured awards include Nancy Hobson, Phyllis Oxford, Beatrice Morling and Kate Saxby. The subjects are mostly plants. Gretta McGuire, of Remuera, Auckland specialised in oils. The judges regard the participation of Australians and New Zealanders as evidence of an increased interest in the purpose of the society, which is to encourage the development of youthful artistry in the Empire.
