BOWLING
VISIT TO WELLINGTON. The following local bowlers will leave Palmerston North to-morrow to compete in friendly matches with members of Wellington clubs: —Messrs S. Bayliss, A. F. Wimsett, W. Frew, W. Rudkin, G. Stephenson, K. Eglinton, P. Morris, Brooaie, E. Spencer, Gooding, J. A. Nash, W. Croucher, P. Rabone. F. Tozer. P. 0. Skoglund, Hansell, Findlay, J. G. Radford, W. Hunter, J. Gerrand, C. Bryan, McKee, J. YV. Teale, H. Dickel, D. Thomas, L. Sparrow, G. Wilkinson, J. T. Follas, F. C. Litchfield, G. Ashton, J. McKinnon, H. Johnson, E. Anderson, T. Smith, A. J. Smith. A. W. Wood, R. E. Toogood, M. Madden; also one rink each from Otaki, Woodville and Levin. The bowlers will leave by the Limited express to-morrow morning, special rates for travelling having been arranged for. In the morning, five rinks will play Wellington and Island Bay and three rinks against Victoria. In the afternoon a centre match comprising 10 rinks, will be played on the Wellington green and the remainder of the Manawatu players will play Victoria. The party returns by the Limited express at night. <
